गुजरात के राजकोट जिले में 08.01.2026, गुरुवार शाम से शुक्रवार 09.01.2026 सुबह तक 26 घंटे में 11 बार भूकंप के हल्के झटके लगे। राजकोट में 9 जनवरी को 11:44 AM पर 2.6, 9:45 AM पर 3.2, 8:34 AM पर 3.2, 8:21 AM पर 3, 7:33 AM पर 2.7, 7:13 AM पर 2.9, 7:10 AM पर 2.9, 6:58 AM पर 3.2, 6:56 AM पर 2.9, 6:19 AM पर 3.8 और 8:43 PM पर 3.3 तीव्रता का भूकंप आया था। 07 जनवरी 2026 सुबह 7:46 AM पर भी 2.8 तीव्रता के भूकंप से राजकोट की धरती कांपी थी। राजकोट के स्थानीय निवासी लगातार आ रहे इन भूकंपों से परेशान हैं। प्रशासन ने उन्हें सतर्क रहने की सलाह दी है।

6 से 6.9 बिल्डिंग की नींव में दरार आ सकती है। ऊपरी मंजिलों को नुकसान पहुंचने का खतरा भी होता है।
7 से 7.9 बिल्डिंग गिर सकती है। जमीन के अंदर पड़ी पानी की पाइप फट जाती हैं।
8 से 8.9 इमारतों समेत बड़े पुल भी गिर सकते हैं। सुनामी आने की संभावना बढ़ जाती है।
9 और उससे ज्यादा बड़ी तबाही। ऐसे में अगर कोई मैदान में खड़ा हो तो उसको जमीन लहराती हुई दिखेगी। समंदर पास में हो तो सुनामी भी आ सकती है।
