मानव भूगोल किसे कहते हैं ? What is human geography?

मानव भूगोल:- यह भूगोल की वह शाखा, जो मानवीय (Human) तथ्यों का भौगोलिक अध्ययन करती है, मानव भूगोल (HUMAN GEOGRAPHY), कहलाती है। जैसे – मानव बस्ती, कृषि, जनसंख्या, उद्योगों आदि का अध्ययन करना।

Human Geography: - This branch of geography, which studies human facts geographically, is called HUMAN GEOGRAPHY. For example, to study human settlement, agriculture, population, industries etc.

फ्रेडरिक रेटजेल (Friedrich Ratzel) के अनुसार - “मानव भूगोल, मानव समाजों और धरातल के बीच सम्बन्धों का संश्लेषित अध्ययन है।”

According to Friedrich Ratzel - "Human geography is a synthetic study of the relationship between human societies and the earth."

कुमारी एलन चर्चिल सेम्पल (Ellen Churchill Semple) के अनुसार - “मानव भूगोल, अस्थिर पृथ्वी और क्रियाशील मानव के बीच परिवर्तनशील सम्बन्धों का अध्ययन है।”

According to Miss Ellen Churchill Semple - "Human geography is the study of the changing relationship between the unstable earth and the active man."
