उतराखंड में रविवार 04 मई 2025 को मौसम में अचानक बदलाव देखने को मिला, जब तेज हवाओं के साथ बारिश होने लगी। इस अप्रत्याशित मूसलाधार बारिश के कारण कई जगहों पर पेड़ टूटकर गिर गए। ऋषिकेश-बदरीनाथ हाईवे पर शिवपुरी के पास बारिश से पहाड़ी का बड़ा हिस्सा नीचे गिर गया, जिससे मार्ग बाधित हो गया।

देहरादून में भी कई जगह तेज बारिश का असर देखा गया। मालदेवता में नदी के किनारे पिकनिक मना रहे कई लोगों ने समय रहते खुद को बचाया। शाम 5:30 बजे मालदेवता के पास बादल फटने से सांग नदी में पानी का स्तर अचानक बढ़ गया, लेकिन सभी लोग सुरक्षित बताए जा रहे हैं।
The effect of heavy rain was also seen at many places in Dehradun. Many people who were picnicking on the banks of the river in Maldevta saved themselves in time. The water level in the Song river suddenly increased due to cloudburst near Maldevta at 5:30 pm, but everyone is said to be safe.
The torrential rain in the Mussoorie area on Sunday disrupted life. Here, along with the water in the waterfall, a large amount of debris and stones from the hill flowed and accumulated in the lake. The Tuni-Maletha highway remained blocked for traffic for some time due to debris in Campti. There was heavy rain in the Campti area on Sunday afternoon, which caused the Campti Falls to overflow. However, there is no information about any loss of life or property in these incidents till the time of writing the news.
