👉यह दोहरा विद्युतीकृत रेलमार्ग है।
👉यह दो महाद्वीपों (एशिया और यूरोप) और दो महासागरों (प्रशांत और बाल्टिक सागर) को जोड़ता है।
👉यह रेलमार्ग पश्चिम में बाल्टिक सागर में फिनलैंड की खाड़ी पर स्थित सेंट पीटर्सबर्ग (जिसका पुराना नाम लेनिन के नाम पर लेनिनग्राद था) को एशिया के सुदूर पूर्व में प्रशांत महासागर के तट पर स्थित व्लादिवोस्तोक तक जोड़ता है।
