The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has detected, through advanced AI tools, a
significant variation between theory and practical marks in certain subjects among 50% or more
students in about 500 CBSE-affiliated schools, based on past years' result statistics.
This variance highlights a need for meticulous assessment during practical examinations in schools.
Consequently, the Board has issued an advisory to such schools to review their internal assessment
procedures.
The aim is to implement a more robust, transparent, and reliable mechanism to ensure
that the assessment process is realistic and adds substantial value to the students' academic journey.
This advisory serves as a reminder to prioritize fairness and accuracy in assessing practical
examinations, thereby enhancing the quality of education imparted in CBSE-affiliated institutions.

सीबीएसई बोर्ड ने ब्रिटिश काउंसिल के साथ मिलकर एक फ्रेमवर्क तैयार किया है जिससे इंटरनल असेसमेंट में मार्क्स के चौंकाने वाले उतार चढ़ाव और संभावित अत्यधिक इजाफे जैसी समस्याओं को हल किया जा सकेगा।
केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड (सीबीएसई) ने कक्षा छठी से 12वीं तक के साइंस और अन्य विषयों के इंटरनल असेसमेंट और प्रेक्टिकल मार्क्स में होने वाली गड़बड़ियों को रोकने के लिए एक योजना तैयार की है। बोर्ड ने ब्रिटिश काउंसिल के साथ मिलकर एक फ्रेमवर्क तैयार किया है जिससे इंटरनल असेसमेंट में मार्क्स के चौंकाने वाले उतार चढ़ाव और संभावित अत्यधिक इजाफे जैसी समस्याओं को हल किया जा सकेगा।
जून में हुई बोर्ड की गवर्निंग बॉडी की मीटिंग की डिटेल्स सार्वजनिक होने के बाद यह जानकारी सामने आई है।

मीटिंग की डिटेल्स से यह भी पता चला है कि बोर्ड परीक्षा में गड़बड़ी होने के रिस्क वाले एग्जाम सेंटरों पर कक्षाओं की सीसीटीवी रिकॉर्डिंग पर भी विचार कर रहा है। सीबीएसई बेंचमार्किंग और मानकों की समीक्षा के लिए एक फ्रेमवर्क बनाएगा। इंटनरल असेसमेंट फ्रेमवर्क एनसीएफएसई यानी नेशनल करिकुलम फ्रेमवर्क के अनुरूप ही होगा।
