क्यों कहते हैं इसे तेजस राजधानी
तेजस एक्सप्रेस (Tejas Rack) के नाम से देश में अलग ट्रेन भी चलती है। यह प्राइवेट ट्रेन है जिसे आईआरसीटीसी (IRCTC) चलाती है। यह शताब्दी एक्सप्रेस टाइप की ट्रेन है।
दरअसल, रेलवे ने एक तेजस रैक बनाया है। इसमें हर डिब्बे का दरवाजा ड्राइवर ही खोलता और बंद करता है। ट्रेन एक बार चल पड़ी तो रास्ते में कहीं रूक भी जाए तो आप दरवाजा नहीं खोल सकते। जब तक ड्राइवर दरवाजा नहीं खोलेगा, इसका दरवाजा नहीं खुलेगा। इस ट्रेन में यही रैक लगा है। इसलिए इसे तेजस राजधानी कहते हैं।
