Career in Haryana Police (Eligibility for Post of Constables, Sub-Inspector, Inspector for Male and Female Candidates)

Haryana Police Eligibility

Age Limit 

  • Minimum age should be 18 years and the maximum age for all applicants must be under 25 years, to apply for HSSC constable post.
  • For Ex.-Servicemen candidates: Upper age limit is 40 years plus continuous military service added by three years. The break-in service between the date of discharge and between 1st day of the month in which the enrolment process is started shall not exceed four years.
  • As per the government policies, there are 5 years of age relaxation for Reserved categories.
  • For Sub Inspector Post: Candidates should have completed 21 years of age and should not exceed 27 years.
  • For Inspector Post: Candidates should have completed 21 years of age and should not exceed 30 years.

Educational Qualification for Constables

  • The applying candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent educational qualifications from a government recognized educational institution.
  • Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the language subjects is also mandatory.

Educational Qualification for Sub-Inspector

  • The candidate must have completed graduation or equivalent degree from any university or institution which is recognized by State/Central Government.
  • The candidate also must have Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matric Standards or Higher Education or equivalent degree from the recognized institution or university.

Educational qualification for Inspector Post

  • The aspirants must have a qualified Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university or any equivalent degree from a recognized university or institution.
