आप सब से विनम्र निवेदन यह है कि आप अपने क्षेत्र के लोगों का ध्यान लोहे की कीलों व तारों और पक्के फर्श से पेड़ों को होनी वाली असहनीय तकलीफों की ओर आकर्षित करें।
प्रबुद्ध बुद्धिजीवी वर्ग,
जैसा की आप और हम सब देखते हैं कि हमारे आप - पास कहीं न कहीं लोग पेड़ों में लोहे की कीलें ठोक कर, लोहे के तार बांध कर और पेड़ों के चारों ओर पक्का फर्श बना कर भूल जाते हैं। पेड़ समय के साथ – साथ वृद्धि करता है। लेकिन ये सब उनको कितना असहनीय कष्ट देते हैं।
हमारे जीवन का आधार, प्रकृति के रक्षक, बेजूबान सेवक “पेड़ों” के साथ ऐसी मानवीय भूलें और अनदेखी व्यक्तिगत स्तर, व्यवसायों और मार्केटिंग के लिए विज्ञापन वालों और स्वयं विभिन्न विभागों के द्वारा भी की जा रही हैं।
कृपया आप अपने सुविचारों और प्रयासों के साथ लोगों को इस संदर्भ में प्रेरित करें कि वे पेड़ों के साथ ऐसा बर्ताव न करें। मैं और आप सरकार का ध्यान भी इस ओर आकर्षित करना चाहेंगे कि सरकार, प्रधानमंत्री (मन की बात के माध्यम से और रेडियो एवं दूरदर्शन के माध्यम से) और संबंधित मंत्रालय एवं विभाग भी लोगों को जागरूक करने के साथ – साथ इस विषय पर कोई सख्त कानून भी बनवाने का कष्ट करें। ताकि इस प्रकार की अनदेखी, लापरवाही के प्रति लोग, समाज, विज्ञापन वाले और स्वयं संबंधित विभाग आदि सब सजग रहें।

Respected Indian civilized society,
It is a humble request to all of you that you draw the attention of the people of your area towards the unbearable problems caused to the trees by iron nails, wires and concrete floors.
Enlightened intelligentsia,
As you and we all see that somewhere near us, people forget by hammering iron nails into the trees, tying iron wires and making concrete floors around the trees. The tree grows with time. But all this gives them so much unbearable pain.
Such human mistakes and neglect are being made with “trees” which are the basis of our life, the protector of nature, the voiceless servants, at the individual level, by businesses and by the advertising people for marketing and also by the various departments themselves.
Please, with your good thoughts and efforts, inspire people not to misbehave with trees. I and you would also like to draw the attention of the government to the fact that the government, the Prime Minister (through Mann Ki Baat and through radio and television) and the concerned ministries and departments should also make people aware and take no strict action on this subject. Try to make a law also. So that people, society, advertisers and the concerned departments themselves all remain alert about this type of neglect and carelessness.
