अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सीमा रेखाएं
● डूरंड रेखा (Durand Line) - पाकिस्तान तथा अफगानिस्तान के बीच, वर्ष 1886 में सर मार्टिमर डूरंड द्वारा निर्धारित की गई।
● मैकमोहन रेखा (Macmahon Line) – भारत तथा चीन के बीच 1120 किमी. लंबी यह रेखा सर हेनरी मैकमोहन द्वारा निर्धारित की गई थी। लेकिन चीन इसे स्वीकार नहीं करता।
● रेडक्लिफ रेखा (Radcliffe Line) – भारत तथा पाकिस्तान के बीच इस रेखा को वर्ष 1947 में भारत-पाकिस्तान सीमा आयोग के अध्यक्ष सर सायरिल रेडक्लिफ द्वारा निर्धारित किया गया।
● 17 वीं समानांतर रेखा (17th Parallel) – उत्तरी वियतनाम तथा द. वियतनाम के बीच, वियतनाम के एकीकरण के पहले यह देश को दो भागों में बांटती थी।
● 24 वीं समानांतर रेखा (24th Parallel) – भारत तथा पाकिस्तान। पाकिस्तान के अनुसार कच्छ क्षेत्र का यह रेखा सही निर्धारण करती है लेकिन भारत इस रेखा को स्वीकार नहीं करता है।
● 38 वीं समानांतर रेखा (38th Parallel) – उत्तर कोरिया तथा दक्षिण कोरिया के बीच। यह रेखा कोरिया को दो भागों में बांटती है।
● 49 वीं समानांतर रेखा (49th Parallel) – अमेरिका तथा कनाडा के बीच। यह रेखा अमेरिका तथा कनाडा को दो भागों में बांटती है।
● हिंडनबर्ग रेखा (Hindenburg Line) – जर्मनी तथा पोलैंड के बीच। प्रथम विश्व युद्ध में जर्मनी की सेना यहीं से वापस लौटी थी।
● ओडरनास रेखा (Order-Neisse Line) – जर्मनी तथा पोलैंड के बीच। यह रेखा द्वितीय विश्व युद्ध के बाद निर्धारित की गई।
● मैगिनाट रेखा (Maginot Line) – जर्मनी तथा फ्रांस के बीच। जर्मनी के आक्रमण से बचाव के लिए फ्रांस ने यह रेखा बनाई थी।
International border lines
● Durand Line - between Pakistan and Afghanistan, determined by Sir Martimer Durand in the year 1886.
● Macmahon Line – 1120 km between India and China. This long line was set by Sir Henry McMahon. But China does not accept it.
● Radcliffe Line – This line between India and Pakistan was determined in the year 1947 by Sir Cyril Radcliffe, Chairman of the India-Pakistan Boundary Commission.
● 17th Parallel Line – North Vietnam and The. Between Vietnam, before the unification of Vietnam, it divided the country into two parts.
● 24th Parallel Line – India and Pakistan. According to Pakistan, this line correctly determines the Kutch region, but India does not accept this line.
● 38th Parallel Line – Between North Korea and South Korea. This line divides Korea into two parts.
● 49th Parallel Line – Between America and Canada. This line divides America and Canada into two parts.
● Hindenburg Line – Between Germany and Poland. The German army returned from here in the First World War.
● Order-Neisse Line – Between Germany and Poland. This line was determined after World War II.
● Maginot Line – Between Germany and France. France had made this line to protect against German invasion.
